B.S. Swindles Traveling Peculiarium

Kate and I recently wandered into the wonderfully unhinged world of Mr. Swindle’s Traveling Peculiarium (aka BS Swindles), and it was hands-down one of the funniest, weirdest, most delightfully inappropriate shows we’ve ever seen.

Set inside a cozy, climate-controlled big top (yes, cushioned seats—bless them), this 90-minute spectacle is hosted by the gloriously shady Mr. B.S. Swindler and his partner in crime, Dr. Elixir. What follows is a fast-moving parade of acrobatics, aerials, contortionists, and jaw-dropping stunts—stitched together with sharp adult humor, cheeky innuendo, and just enough bad behavior to keep it strictly 18+ without ever crossing the line. You’ll gasp, laugh, clutch your pearls, then laugh some more.

The night starts early in Dr. Elixir’s Drink-Ory Garden, where strong cocktails and snacks help loosen morals before the show even begins. It’s vintage carnival vibes meets modern circus chaos, refreshed each year and clearly designed for grown-ups who enjoy their entertainment clever, irreverent, and a little bit wrong.
